Launched in 2014, (formerly is the first platform to book alternative accommodation for business travelers. It offers more than 130,000 apartments in major European business cities.

The start-up carried out a fundraising by the end of 2013 with several funders. A second fundraising of 1 million Euros in November 2014 allowed to accelerate its development in Europe, through the establishment of offices in Paris and Cologne.

In September 2015, carried out a third fundraising of 1.5 million Euros. This allowed us to internationalise the website and to develop new services for business travellers. Another fundraising of 1 million Euros has been done in October 2016, and 1.5 million raised in January 2018.

To strengthen its presence among businesses and travel agencies, MagicStay is supported by an Advisory Board of shareholders who are renowned in the business tourism sector. such as  Charles Petruccelli, former President of Global Travel Services, American Express company, and Peter Hazelzet, former CEO of Exposium, to support to the fast-track development of the start-up.

Among the start-up's shareholders are also Benoît Bassi, Partner and President of Bridgepoint Business in France, and member of the Bridgepoint Group's board, and Michael Benabou, co-founder of Vente-Privé The Banque Publique d’Investissement (BPI) and some investment companies are also helping the start-up to grow.

MagicStay won the Silver Medal from E-commerce Best Coming-up, the Favor'i price from Fevad in 2014,  the price of the Best BtoB enterprise from Business Travel Laurels in 2015 and the Trophée Innovation - Business Travel category from Echo touristique in 2017.


The founders: business travel professionals was founded by two partners: Valéry Linÿer and William Lecerf.

Valéry has spent his career working in the event industry, in France but also internationally. He established many events in Paris, Cannes, Hong- Kong, Geneva, Abu Dhabi, Doha... and visited many other ones globally throughout every sector of activity.

It is often difficult to find somewhere to stay during these major international events. Shortage of hotel rooms lead to an immense increase of prices and to extended transportation times. Business travellers have more and more budget constraints. Renting an appartment offer a larger space and sometimes more comfort for a better price. »

William is a specialist in short term rental and related services in Cannes. He is working on many events and conferences throughout the city.
