A welcome change:
Natural colours, pretty prints and classic furnishings make this Chelsea home feel warm and inviting. Entering at street level, you’ll find the dining table to one side of the wood-floored hallway. Then, up a few steps, there’s the kitchen, which has wooden cabinets, marble countertops and floral-curtained windows. Beyond these, a staircase winds down to a paved garden with a white table and chairs. The third bedroom is on the other side of the window, and there’s a toilet room down on this level too.
Next along is the sitting room, which takes up all of the first floor. This room has many exotic touches – most notably the desert scene painting that spans the chimney breast – but there’s a snug sofa and armchairs and a sturdy coffee table too. Above it is the ensuite second bedroom, and then above that, on the third floor, there’s the master bedroom. With its ornate king-size bed, balcony and ensuite—it’s worth the climb.:
