Be careful with the stairs of the building: they are quite narrow and slanted, and may not be suitable for young children or elderly persons.
Within 5 minutes´ walk you will find a large choice of restaurants. Not only traditional Portuguese cuisine, but also a wide selection of exotic restaurants (Chinese, Indian, African).

Mouraria is the most multicultural area of ??the city with a particular and striking atmosphere. It's nonetheless a very authentically Lisbon neighborhood, known as the birthplace of Fado.
It is a maze of narrow streets and alleys, full of typical small grocery stores, old bars (some Fado taverns) and cheap traditional restaurants. On the main square "Martim Moniz", you will find restaurant kiosks of many cuisines, tented outdoor eating areas, concerts and a weekly fresh market.

It is an excellent starting point to visit the main places of the city. You are 3 minutes´ walk to the tram No. 15 which goes to Belém, 5 minutes´ walk from the line of Sintra train station and 20 minutes´ walk from the Cais do Sodre train station you take in Cascais.
