The city center of Florence is a ZTL zone which means a "restricted traffic zone" and so special rules apply when you can enter this zone.

This apartment is actually located in the ZTL area, which means that if you plan to come to Florence by car and want to walk around and park, you will need to pay close attention to traffic signs, CCTV cameras and access. cameras (they will show either a red / green light) in order to avoid getting fines.

Guests who need to travel to the ZTL area by car to reach their apartment should contact one of the private garages in the center (the one closest to the apartment in which you are staying) and obtain a permit temporary access.

Upon arrival at the garage, customers must specify their need for access in the ZTL and the garage will then note the license plate of the vehicle and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters.
